These data are from the Energy Information Administration in 2002 - pounds of carbon dioxide emissions per kilowatt-hour of electricity generated by state and region. Very useful if you want to see how effective cutting electricity usage is (of course you always save money). For comparison China is in the 1.8 -1.9 pounds CO2/kWh range.
