I didn't expect to ever find this again.
When I went to high school our library shared volumes with Malmstrom Air Force Base. A volume I nearly managed to wear out was The Design of Liquid Propellant Rocket Engines by Dieter Huzel and David Huang. At the time this was Rocketdyne's gift to the geeks - most of the engineering was impossible for the amateur, but that didn't stop a few people.
It is frightening to think about a sourceforge liquid rocketry project.
