Overhead Crane

One of the overhead cranes at the Alternating Gradient Synchrotron at Brookhaven National Laboratory used to move heavy apparatus pieces and concrete shielding blocks.
Use of the cranes was restricted to facility experts, but grad students and postdocs tended to teach themselves in the middle of the night. I'm afraid it is just too tempting.
