Steve, definitely write more energy posts!

Maybe more people will move to cycling and walking in future cities like they do in København and Amsterdam. These cities are so much more civilized with only light car traffic. I was in San Francisco recently and cringed most of the time.

Great read. Thanks for that. If you haven't already read it, I highly recommend a book by Per Espen Stoknes: "What We Think About When We Try Not To Think About Global Warming". It has some great insights into the psychology of climate change, and covers some of the ground you have introduced in this post.
