the demographic winter and the party of the angry white guy

The current Republican party as a reaction to their shrinkng demographic,  One of the reasons they are so focused on stirring the base and suppressing minority votes.  It isn't sustainable in the long term, but may be their short term ticket - and if they can change fundamental structure in the short term ....
