a quick thought

A lot of farmers are going to be receiving a lot of federal welfare soon- Federally backed crop insurance - something that the taxpayer largely holds the bag for.  It seems reasonable to only cover crops used for food.  If you raise cotton or grain for fuel you should be on your own.  Crop insurance was intended to help stabilize the food supply.
