Yuba is one of about a half dozen bike manufacturers that specialize in cargo bikes. While common in Northern Europe, these are comparatively rare in North America but they seem to be gaining in popularity as people recognize it can be useful to haul small amounts of stuff (say up to a few hundred pounds) for short distances (say less than five miles) and not have to use a car. You wouldn't want to use one for regular commuting unless your commute was very short, but if it can significantly reduce the need for something like a second car (or even a car for some), it can be enormously cost effect.
Their new Boda Boda, like almost any bike, is a design compromise and may be much more practical for many than the conventional more truck like cargo bike. Relatively inexpenisve at about $1000 and an elecric version is available.
If you are seriously interested in this type of bike do a bit of asking around to see what kind of cargo bike makes sense for your situation. I would also make sure than any ebike has a local shop that honors its warranty - I'm not convinced the electrics are entirely sorted out at this point (not tis one in particular - but all that I've seen)
