I'm very fond of the notion of a pocketable camera with good optics, sensor and usable controls. This new Sony has at least the first two.. Pogue notes some interface issues. I'm still waiting for the digital equivalent of my old Leica film camera. It was intuitive in the extreme. Note I didn't say "simple" - there is a huge difference between the two. I'm not interested in a simple camera, rather I want something I can get very used to and use as an extension of myself. I have yet to see a digital camera that comes close enough for me.
