Imprint has a large piece on the failure of the Ford Edsel with quite a bit of original dealer and marketing pieces. I've skimmed it - probably a gold mine of "don't go here" examples.
A huge marketing failure. It is curious to see how they try to promote torque over horsepower for marketing reasons.
How about recent comparisons? The RIM Playbook? (although the Playbook was so much a marketing failure as product that wasn't up to the competition, the dissonance between marketing hype and reality. probably kept many of them on the shelves)
