A list of 25 sources. Road trip anyone?
I've been to a few of these and would recommend them highly. They are all different and all worthwhile:

I make my own, but haven't in awhile. There is a compatriot from grad school who is excellent and we learned a lot together (hi Steve) wearing out some ice cream freezers in the process
Here is a recent satisfied customer cleaning the dasher - she was very enthusiastic. This was based on freshly picked raspberries. In the end ice cream is about happiness.
