power generation on power line poles

PSE&G is installing photovoltaic panels on some of its power line poles in NJ.   220 watts each and the project will eventually provide about 40 MW of power.  Not a lot of power, but NJ gets a fair amount of its electricity from the burning of fossil fuels, so this is a good thing.  I'm not sure how cost effective it is compared to other deployments of PV...
