an astonishingly dumb idea

Pickens wants $28B from the economic stimulus plan to convert 350,000 trucks from diesel to natural gas. 


A very diverting and silly use of funds unless ... oh yeah .. Pickens is a natural gas tycoon.  A fraction of that spent on conservation and efficiency will make a much larger difference.
