All electric and only three meters long, it is relatively tall (155 cm). By eliminating the internal combustion engine, the designers have a good deal of flexibility for the cabin design.
Concept vehicles are rarely produced, but the unusual shapes some of the EV prototypes are taking may be providing clues about the direction of next generation cars. In this case the claim is being made that it is being used as a testbed for Nissan EV concepts that are due in product in 2010. The fact the testbed is a microcar makes sense as Li-Ion batteries will still be extremely expensive.
