I'm afraid Palin is clueless with respect to energy - drilling out of the problem is incomprehensible. What she is good at is being a shill for the oil industry and an expert at bringing huge federal earmarks into her community

A double talker who praises small government but is highly tuned to game the system.

McCain would be better off with Paris Hilton. She is taller, has a better tan, is as wealthy as his wife and has a more coherent energy plan. If you are pandering, you might as well just go for it.

But McCain clearly isn't green. His commercials are blatant lies .. I normally disagree with Friedman, but he gets it right in his editorial.

Palin’s nomination for vice president and her desire to allow drilling in the Alaskan wilderness “reminded me of a lunch I had three and half years ago with one of the Russian trade attachés,” global trade consultant Edward Goldberg said to me. “After much wine, this gentleman told me that his country was very pleased that the Bush administration wanted to drill in the Alaskan wilderness. In his opinion, the amount of product one could actually derive from there was negligible in terms of needs. However, it signified that the Bush administration was not planning to do anything to create alternative energy, which of course would threaten the economic growth of Russia.

cascading revelations. palin is a wonderful candidate as she will help defeat mccain better than almost anyone. as a woman who hates what the republican party stands for, i strongly support her candidacy!

this is cute if verified - her town was debt free before her, but now they have huge debut despite huge earmarks
