Many people are linking to the Rutger's news conference on the Imus episode.. (Windows Media Player)
Attaching hard working young women is despicable. Imus has apparently been doing this for years and his popularity speaks to the amount of hate and racism in America. It is the network's decision, but anyone going on his show is making a statement of support (politicians should remember this) and perhaps the rest of us should get in touch with CBS and MSNBC as well as the sponsors of the show.
I'm sure advertiser lists will be available shortly. Call them up and ask them if they support hate. He will still have his audience (sadly), but there is no reason to help him and corporate supports stay wealthy.

Of course if a politician goes on his show it is reasonable to ask them their position on Imus' racist and anti-women slurs...
