which headset to buy
In an effort to improve the quality of my Skype and iChat AV calls I need to find a good usb headset.
What do people recommend?

I have a $30 logitech something or other. It isn't great but is the only usb headset they had for less than $75. This was a year ago. There are probably better units now. It is much better than the stock speaker and microphone.

Greg noted he liked a Logitech bluetooth headset by email. Googling around I found this test

Since my iMac has bluetooth it might be the way to go

more googling finds many comments on bluetooth headsets (which cost more than I would like to spend) ... some work, some don't (with OS X)
