The AMANDA II collaboration has just published the first map of the high energy neutrino sky.

This is amazing science and is a bit more frigid than the old DUMAND detector. I had considered a postdoc with DUMAND but, after talking with some of the principals, became convinced that its location was more important to them than the science.
